 Our strategy is to develop a "package" on every business that we represent or help a buyer "package" the business they are considering to buy.  Please note that we believe in an evolutionary process. We maintain confidentiality and disclose information to a buyer slowly. As the comfort level between the buyer and seller grows, we release additional information.

 

Maintaining Privacy and Confidentiality

SERVIAN GROUP is extremely concerned about confidentiality and will require all potential buyers to sign a Warranty and Confidentiality Agreement before any information is exchanged. Your clients must be assured that all proprietary information is held in confidence.

After a buyer has signed a confidentiality agreement and is financially qualified, we will show the buyer the BLI. If there is mutual agreement to continue, we release the Confidential Memo.

The Confidential Memo is shared with a potential buyer that has been qualified financially to buy the business and has reviewed the Business Listing Information Sheet. The Confidential Memo contains additional information including more specific financial information. After review, a site visit will be arranged.

The Evaluation Report is a critical step that helps sellers or buyers begin to understand the fair market value of a business. The business evaluation is not an appraisal. There are a number of significant differences between evaluations and appraisals. An evaluation is designed to give a guideline or benchmark value rather than a formal determination of value.
